BVC

February 26, 2004

Except that we have all had congestion that comes from suffering from Brazos Valley Crud (BVC), the whole Buenger family is doing quite well these days. Erin is reading up a storm, spending as much time as she can wheedle out of her mom with her friends, and playing soccer with passion. The Sharks had their best game ever last Saturday, and I can not brag enough about how much energy and enthusiasm these first graders bring to the soccer field. Davis competed in the Regional Fed Challenge last week and did quite well despite never having taken an economics course. His high school soccer team is half way through the district schedule. The weather has disrupted things (as many cancellations as victories), but so far no losses.

Please remember that Relay for Life is coming to the town in April. While Erin is doing quite well, many other children with neuroblastoma and other pediatric cancers that we know are not. Relay for Life will raise money and awareness for all cancers including neuroblastoma, and I wish that each of you would help. Please visit the site and consider joining or supporting a team. Erin's team, sponsored by the TAMU History Department, is called the History Buffs. If you would like to contribute to her team, email me (w-buenger@tamu.edu) or Kelly Cook, the History Buffs team captain (k-cook@tamu.edu).

Thank you for stopping by.
