Friends and Family,
It has been a confusing day, but it seems that Erin will be coming home from Texas Children's this evening. She has to get a test, a prep for a test tomorrow, and a whole blood transfusion.
The preliminary results from her CT Scan indicate the tumor is smaller. We have not yet talked with the surgeon to see if the Chemo has done all he hoped, but this is encouraging news.
Thank you for your support. We will drive down to Houston tomorrow for a test and then hope to be home until surgery on November 15.

Dear Friends and Family,
Erin is in the hospital at Texas Children's in Houston. Her fever went up over 101 on Friday and we took her down that night. Her fever is stable and she is feeling ok. She will probably stay in the hospital until her fever is gone and they have ruled out any chance of infection. That means she will have her CT scan on Monday, November 4 as an in patient. We hope she can leave the hospital by Wednesday.
Erin appreciates email greetings and you may send them to her at

Thank you for your support.

Part 1
Erin had fun dressing like a ballerina yesterday. We did limited trick or treating because her counts were low. We are scheduled to have a whole blood transfusion at St. Joseph's today, but are waiting for a room to come open.
Thanks for all of your kind thoughts and deeds.
Part 2
Erin's fever came up during her transfusion this afternoon. We are driving to Houston tonight to be admitted to Texas Children's Hospital. More later.
